Artificial Intelligence Based Identification and Segregation of Plastic
Waste from Garbage for Enhanced Recycling:
Waste or garbage is a heterogeneous amalgamation of plastic, metal, glass, paper, food items, wood etc. Waste management deals with the proper disposal or recycling of all the waste products produced from various segments. This project, in line with Swacch Bharat Mission, aims at designing computer vision-based solutions for the segregation of waste material for the efficient waste treatment process of plastic waste.
Projects Completed:
Smart Note Taker, a product that helps and satisfies the needs of the people in today’s technologic and fast life. With the help of Smart Note Taker, people will be able to write notes on air, while being busy with their work. Handwritten notes will be captured and displayed. The project employs image analysis and pattern matching techniques.
Stock Market Sentiment Analysis:
The objective of the project is to establish a correlation between sentiment parameters present in social networks, blogs and news, at particular points of time and stock market movement during the same time slots. (Funded by TEQIP, phase-2)
Gauging Stress, Anxiety and Depression Levels in Students:
College life is one of the most stirring and rewarding times in any scholar’s life, but it can also be a time when a student has to deal with mental illness in terms of Stress, Anxiety, Anger, Depression or Suicidal Thoughts. In this project, we have developed an online service which can help students in maintaining their positive mental health through researched questionnaires. (Funded by DIC, MHRD)
Study of Stabilizing Parameters in Dynamically Stable Robot:
Objective of the project is to establish a credible and mature understanding of postural stability in quadruped robot by exploring various aspects of quadruped robots like joints, degree of freedom, centre of mass, centre of gravity & centre of pressure. The project encompasses various broad sub areas like Image Processing for
detection of obstacles, robot stability and adjusting torque on varying load, robot postural balance in case of external push or pull. (Funded by Institute Research Grant, MNNIT Allahabad)

Election Management for Political Parties,
A consultancy is provided to National Computers, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh. A software, as required, is designed for individuals or political parties competing in elections mainly state or at the central level. It assists in managing information regarding blocks, panchayats, villages, sections under their constituencies, the voters, major communities and major requirements of the people etc. This project is designed to provide support, in building strategy, to candidates aiming for success in the elections.(Estimated market price: Rs. 6 Lakhs)
