Recipient of Best Paper Award for the paper "Computational Analysis of Drag Reduction for a Hatchback Car", presented at the International Conference on Advanced Computational Technologies and Creative Media (ICACTCM-2014), August 14-15, 2014, Pattaya (Thailand).

A paper entitled "CFD Analysis of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine with blended winglet profile" authored by Shalini Verma, Sanjeevani Suresh Kamdi, and Akshoy Ranjan Paul was adjudged as the Best paper of the day at the 48th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP-2021) held at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus (India) during 27-29 December 2021.

A paper entitled "Design of a Two-Body Point Absorber for Indian Coast" authored by Devesh Singh, Prashant Kumar, Akshoy Ranjan Paul, and Abdus Samad was adjudged as the Best paper of the session at the 48th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP-2021) held at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus (India) during 27-29 December 2021.

A paper entitled "Influence of Building Wake on Particulate Matter Dispersion using Discrete Phase Modelling" authored by Dwarkesh Parmar, Devesh Singh, Akshoy Ranjan Paul, was given to the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Energy, Environment and Green Technologies (ICSEEGT 2023) held at Purnima College of Engineering, Jaipur (Rajasthan) during 27-28 June 2023.

On-going Projects:

Received a joint research project entitled "Performance Improvement of Solar Thermal Systems using Magnetic Nanofluids" in collaboration with BITS Pilani and is funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India under India-South Africa Joint Science and Technology Research Collaboration in Sept. 2021. Sanction No.: DST/INT/South Africa/P-08/2021 dtd. 16 Sept. 2021. Project duration: 3.5 years (Sept. 2021-Mar. 2025). Funding amount: INR. 4.25 Million, Status: Ongoing. PI: Dr. Suvanjan Bhattacharyya (BITS Pilani). Role in the Project: Co-Principal Investigator.

Received a research project entitled "Making Indian Commercial Road Vehicles Environment Friendly and Fuel Efficient through Aerodynamics Research" in collaboration with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and RMIT University (Melbourne) and is funded by Ministry of Education (GoI) under Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC) in June 2023. Project duration: July 2023- July 2025. Funding amount: INR. 4.757 Million. Status: Ongoing. Indian Co-PI: Dr. Subhankar Sen (IIT-ISM Dhanbad). Received a research project entitled "Synergistic Supply Chain Assessment of Critical Minerals involving Australia and India" funded by Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia under India-Australia Critical Minerals Research Partnership (IACMRP) programme in Feb. 2024. Project Duration: 2 Years (March 2024 - Feb. 2026). Funding amount: AUD 50,000. Role in the Project: Principal Investigator. Research Fellow: Dr. Shalini Verma.

Received a research project entitled “Prototype design and performance analysis of energy efficient domestic biogas cook-stove burner” funded by SERB under Core Research Grant (CRG) scheme in Feb. 2024. Funding amount: Indian Rupees 4.284479 Million. Project duration: March 2024  March 2027. PI: Dr. Bireswar Paul (MNNITA). My role in the Project: Co-Principal Investigator.

Received a joint research project entitled "Development and Demonstration of a Wave-Powered RO-Based Desalination System" in collaboration with IIT Madras and is funded by DST (GoI) under Water Technology Initiative Programme on 8 July 2024. Project duration: 3 years (July 2024 - July 2027). Funding amount: INR. 18.22 Million. PI: Prof. Abhijit Chaudhuri (IIT Madras), Co-PI: Prof. Abdus Samad (IIT Madras). Industry Partner: VPE Systems, Visakhapatnam. My role in the Project: Co-Principal Investigator.

Received a research project entitled “Techno-Economic, Environmental and Social Impacts of Utilizing Biodegradable Waste: A Study on North, North-East and South India” in collaboration with NIT Agartala and IARE Hyderabad and is funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) under the special call for Vision Viksit Bharat@2047. Received a research project entitled “Experimental and Computational Studies on Human Airways” funded by DST-SERB under FSER Scheme in June 2014. Funding amount: Indian Rupees 3.85 Million. Received a research project entitled “Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter (RSPM) on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)” funded by Council of Science and Technology, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh under Technology Innovation scheme in May 2015.
