About the Hackathon
Hackathon on Cyber Security 2026 is a flagship initiative by the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and Indian Banks' Association (IBA) through Public Sector Banks (PSBs), in association with IITs and NITs. This year's edition is being hosted at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad. Teams of 3 - 4 members compete across three structured phases to design AI-powered cybersecurity solutions protecting India's rapidly growing digital payment infrastructure.

All phases — from idea shortlisting to the physical finale — are conducted at MNNIT, Allahabad.

Teams of 3–4 Members
Form teams of 3 to 4 members from any IIT, NIT, or government institution across India and register online.
3-Phase Structure
Phase I: Idea Shortlisting → Phase II: Prototype/PoC → Phase III: Physical Finale at MNNIT.
Global Fintech Fest Invite
The 1st prize-winning team is invited to GFF 2026 at BKC, Mumbai (tentatively Sept/Oct 2026).
Certification
All participants receive certificates. Finalists receive special recognition from MNNIT & partner banks.
