Designing and Development of a novel quorum quenching and lytic bacteriophage cocktail based therapeutic strategy by using QS regulated CRISPR-cas system to prevent Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its biofilm associated infections: ICMR Govt. of India

Projects Completed:

Development of Eucalyptus globules oil containing bioadhesive polymeric nanoprticles and estimation of its cytotoxicity potential and assay against biofilms: DST, GOI.
Study of antibody and human morphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) mediated phagocytosis of PNAG positive Staphylococcus epidermidis biofilms and estimation of Caspase-3-like Protease (CLP) production: DBT, GOI.
Study of role of lactone signaling and alginate production on neutrophil interaction, apoptosis, and subsequent macrophage mediated phagocytosis against Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm associated infections: SERB, GOI.
Study of water and terrestrial biofilms using foldscope as a tool to address community health and sanitation issues. DBT, GOI.
