A paper entitled "CFD Analysis of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine with blended winglet profile" authored by Shalini Verma, Sanjeevani Suresh Kamdi, and Akshoy Ranjan Paul was adjudged as the Best paper of the day at the 48th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP-2021) held at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus (India) during 27-29 December 2021.
A paper entitled "Design of a Two-Body Point Absorber for Indian Coast" authored by Devesh Singh, Prashant Kumar, Akshoy Ranjan Paul, and Abdus Samad was adjudged as the Best paper of the session at the 48th National Conference on Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power (FMFP-2021) held at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus (India) during 27-29 December 2021.

On-going Projects:

Received a joint research project entitled "Performance Improvement of Solar Thermal Systems using Magnetic Nanofluids" in collaboration with BITS Pilani and is funded by Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India under India-South Africa Joint Science and Technology Research Collaboration in Sept. 2021. Sanction No.: DST/INT/South Africa/P-08/2021 dtd. 16 Sept. 2021. Project duration: 3 years (Sept. 2021-Sept. 2024). Funding amount: INR. 4.25 Million, Status: Ongoing. PI: Dr. Suvanjan Bhattacharyya (BITS Pilani). Role in the Project: Co-Principal Investigator.
Received a joint research project entitled "Al Alloy-Stainless Steel Bi-metallic joining using Friction Stir Welding for Aerospace Application" in collaboration with IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and BITS Pilani and is funded by DRDO Centre for Advanced Systems, Hyderabad under Contract for Acquisition of Research Services (CARS) scheme in Jan. 2022. Project duration: 1.5 years (Jan. 2022- July 2023). Funding amount: INR. 0.997 Million, Status: Ongoing. PI: Dr. Somnath Chattopadhyaya (IIT-ISM Dhanbad). Received a research project entitled “Flow Control in Complex Ducts using Synthetic Jets” funded by DST-SERB Fast Track Research Scheme for Young Scientists in April 2013. Funding amount: Indian Rupees 2.393 Million. Project duration: Dec. 2013 - June 2017. Status: Completed. Role in the Project: Principal Investigator.
Received a research project entitled “Experimental and Computational Studies on Human Airways” funded by DST-SERB under FSER Scheme in June 2014. Funding amount: Indian Rupees 3.85 Million. Received a research project entitled “Respirable Suspended Particulate Matter (RSPM) on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)” funded by Council of Science and Technology, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh under Technology Innovation scheme in May 2015.
