The 18th Annual Convocation-2021 of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Praygraj was held on 18 January 2022 at 10 AM in virtual mode. Students of various courses were awarded degrees. Dr. Subhas Sarkar, Honorable Minister of State for Education, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest of the event. Prof. Rajeev Tripathi, Chairman of Board of Governors & Director of the Institute and Chairman of the Senate, Prof. R.K. Singh, Dean (Academic), Senate Members and Dr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Registrar graced the occasion. In this event a total of 1464 degrees was awarded out which 860 B. Tech., 367 M. Tech., 85 MCA, 35 MBA, 18 M.Sc., and 99 Ph.D. scholars will receive their Degrees. During the Convocation event, 61 foreign students admitted through DASA were receive their degrees. 32 Gold Medals were given to postgraduate students and 13 Gold Medals were given to undergraduate students. Apart from these gold medals 12 sponsored Gold Medals constituted by Faculty, Alumni and Industry were conferred to the students for their outstanding performance. It is to be noted that a total of 229 girl students were awarded degrees. Mr. Akshat Jain of Civil Engineering Branch awarded with overall Institute Gold Medal as the best student amongst all the B. Tech. Final Year students passing out batch 2021. He awarded Five Gold Medals. In the Year-wise Gold Medal Category, Aryan Mittal (CSE) for third year, Shubham Dixit (CSE) for second year and Amisha Sinha (ECE) for first year was awarded gold medals.
