In Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad, the newly constructed Synthetic Basketball & Lawn Tennis Courts (named Courts '87 after the donor batch) and the Renovated Girls & Boys Gyms were inaugurated on 16 January, 2022 by Prof. Rajeev Tripathi, Director MNNIT Allahabad and President of MNNIT Alumni Association (MAA). On this occasion the Guest of Honour was Shri Raj Dubey, Executive Director, Indian Oil Corporation Limited and an alumnus of 1987 Mechanical batch. The construction of National level Courts '87 facility and the Girls & Boys Gyms renovation amount into nearly Rs 32 lacs, was made possible by the generous funding by the 1987 batch of the rest while MNREC Allahabad. Shri Raj Dubey also unveiled the logo of MAA designed by Ms. Mridula Bhadra, Research Scholar Department of Biotechnology. On this occasion Prof. Geetika - Dean RGIA, Prof. K.N. Pandey - Dean P & D, various HODs, Dr. Sarvesh K. Tiwari - Registrar, Prof. R. P. Tiwari & Er. R. K. Agrawal of 1987 batch, Prof. Mukul Shukla - Vice President-1, Dr. Vandana Agrawal - Secretary, Dr. D.K. Shukla - Treasurer, Dr. Ramji Dwivedi - Joint Secretary-1, Faculty members, Officers of Gymkhana,CWM andCPWD, Non-teaching staff of MAA and MNNIT were present. A large number of MNNIT alumni including that of 1987 and other batches also joined the event online. Dr. Ramji Dwivedi, Joint Secretary-1 proposed the vote of thanks and applauded the efforts and contribution of all involved persons.
