MNNIT Allahabad supported 54th Annual Convention and Exhibition at Lucknow hosted by IWWA Lucknow and Prayagraj Centres on 8th & 9th January, 2022. The convention comprised of several activities on the theme - "Challenges in Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Management: Vision for Safe Water & Sanitation For All". Shri Ashutosh Tandan Ji, Hon’ble Minister Urban Development, U. P. graced the event as the chief guest of the inaugural function whereas Prof. Rajeev Tripathi, Director, MNNIT Allahabad graced the valedictory function as the chief guest. The convention received participation of over 300 participants by members of IWWA and professionals from different Central and State Government Departments, Government undertakings, different water utilities, Academic and Training Institutions, International Delegates, and the authorities/persons working in the Water & Waste Water Sectors. An Exhibition with stalls pertaining to latest technologies / products in the field of Water, Waste water, Sanitation, Solid Waste and Environmental Management was also organized at the venue of the convention. The modak Memorial Lecture was delivered by Dr. Rajendra Singh Ji, Jal Purusha and V. Raman Endowoment Lecture by Prof. (Dr.) Venktesh Dutta, SEES BBAU, Lucknow. After the first Technical session by UNICEF, there were a total of 8 Technical sessions having a total of from various participants. There were a total of 8 Technical sessions (in hybrid mode) having a total 40 presentations out of which 21 were in the online mode and 19 Physical.
