MNNIT Allahabad organized the 2nd MoMSME GoI sanctioned Awareness Programs on Design Component under the MSME Innovation Scheme on March 28th 2023. The primary intention of organizing these Awareness Programs is to sensitize the local MSMEs about the various new GoI MSME Schemes and familiarize them with the ministry’s initiatives and activities, for their overall development, competitiveness and sustainability in the dynamic field of Design & Manufacturing. Mr. Satpal Gulati, Vice Chairman, United Group of Institutions was the Chief Guest of the Inaugural function. Mr. G.S. Darbari, Ex President of Eastern UP Chamber of Commerce, Mr. L.B.S Yadav, Joint Director, MSME and Dr. Vibha Mishra, MSME Consultant were the Guests of Honour. Prof. R.S. Verma, Director MNNIT Allahabad presided over the function that was attended by nearly 35 MSME delegates from in and around Prayagraj (representing Laghu Udyog Bharti, Eastern UP Chamber of Commerce, UPSIA etc) and a large number of faculty and students. Expert lectures by Mr. L.B.S Yadav (on various new GoI MSME Schemes), Dr. Vibha Mishra (on experience and success stories of MSMEs) and Prof. Mukul Shukla, Professor In-charge, MSME, MNNIT Allahabad (on Design and Manufacturing) were delivered. A visit to the facilities available at MNNIT Allahabad including 3D Printing, Robotics, Product Design, Mechatronics, Lasers, Non-conventional machining, FRP lab was also organized, for improved outreach and collaboration with the local MSMEs on joint student projects and visits in the near future.
