On Day 2 Inauguration of Diamond Jubilee Global Alumni Convention 2022 of MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj the Chief Guest was Mr. Ahmed Mazahri 1991 Mechanical passout, President Microsoft Asia while the Guests of Honour were Mr. Joseph S Jacob 1985 Electrical, CEO BlueFlux Power USA and Principal Platinum Sponsor of GAC, Dr. A.K.Tiwari 1984 Civil, Vice President Ultratech Cement Chief sponsor and Ms. Shrishti Singh IAS of 2019 Electronics passout batch. Director MNNIT Prof. R.S. Verma presided over the function. Prof. Mukul Shukla VP 1 delivered the welcome address to nearly 350 illustrious alumni (more than 50% of whom were from abroad) and 100+ registered MNNIT faculty members. GAC 2022 is a confluence or Sangam of our highly illustrious and flourishing Alumni, committed and dynamic faculty and bright students, being held after a period of three years owing to the pandemic. Day 2 was the landmark felicitation day of 3 Silver Jubilee Batches (1995, 96 and 97 Graduates). MAA organized multiple activities in the 3 day event for Moti ke Lal as per #MotiforMotis motto aiming at maximizing its outreach. The highlight event of the day was the unveiling of the autonomous driverless car a first of its kind in India by Chief Guest Mr. Ahmad Mazhari being funded by the 1995 silver jubilee batch of Mr. Rohit Garg and his batchmates, for nearly Rs. 20 lacs. The unique product is developed by the MNNIT Robotics club and Mechanical Engineering faculty in a record time of few months. The morning of the 3rd and last day of the grand GAC 2022 of MNNIT started with an early morning visit to Triveni Sangam by many alumni. After returning from Sangam many other alumni also joined and assembled at Student Activity Centre SAC and had Breakfast in the Boys Hostel Mess reliving their old college days food menu.
