Logistics and supply chain management is a continuously evolving and improving function which necessitates learning and adoption of new trends and theories to flourish in global competitive markets. This course is designed to guide the participants along the difficult terrain of Supply Chain Management and Logistics to support theirexploration and learning of the emerging theories in logistics, management of the flow of goods, movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. The course will explore critical aspects like optimal design of supply chain, good vendor selection policy, reverse logistics, risk management issues etc., as applicable to supply chain management.
